Two weeks: rebuild your financial model, then stress-test it on stage in front of real investors.
A stalled raise is usually not because your company isn't making money — it's because your assumptions and the investor's never lined up. Week one, we get you thinking like a VC and rebuild your broken Excel into a single source of truth. Week two, real investors show up and put your model through a high-pressure stress test.

About this two-week bootcamp
A stalled raise is usually not because you're not making money — it's because your assumptions never lined up with theirs
🎤 You, fired up on stage, saying
"Our future growth potential is enormous—"
Vision, market size, product roadmap. All correct — and none of it is the question the investor is actually running numbers on right now.
VS
🧮 The investor, frowning, doing math
"Can this amount of cash survive ten months?"
Burn Rate, Runway, LTV/CAC — they check every model against the same vocabulary, and your Excel may not even answer these questions.
This bootcamp is built for founding teams whose company is already registered and who are preparing to raise, or actively raising. We'll get you thinking entirely in "VC point of view" and root out the financial blind spots that have been costing you meetings. Guided by Mosaic Venture Lab's experience coaching countless teams through international competitions, and Tessly, a dynamic forecasting tool, we'll help you rebuild your fragmented Excel into a single source of truth.
More importantly, in week two we bring real, active investors into the room to put your financial model through a high-intensity stress test.
01 / VIEWPOINT
Switch to a VC's point of view
A deep read on what investors are really asking behind core metrics like Burn Rate and LTV/CAC — and how to root out the fatal flaw that makes an investor walk away at first glance.
02 / SINGLE SOURCE OF TRUTH
Rebuild a fragmented Excel into one source of truth
Bring in Tessly, a dynamic forecasting tool, and structurally migrate your current messy spreadsheet assumptions into a live model you can drag parameters on in real time.
03 / STRESS TEST
Live stress test from real investors
Not a simulation, not peer feedback. In week two, invited real investors show up and fire questions at you, live, while you defend your numbers in Tessly in real time.
Instructor
Two-week agenda
Two evenings, from rebuilding your model to defending it live
Week one gets your model to a state investors are willing to look at; week two turns it into a weapon you can defend at the negotiating table.
Class time 19:00 – 21:00··Taught in Mandarin
Day 1Week 1
[POINT-OF-VIEW ALIGNMENT]
Rebuild a model VCs will actually buy
Root out the blind spots in your model and build the financial language investors actually want to see.
1.1
Decoding the VC point of view
A deep read on what investors are really asking behind core metrics like monthly burn rate (Burn Rate) and acquisition ROI (LTV/CAC).
1.2
Model checkup and migration
Break down the fatal flaw that makes an investor walk away at first glance. Bring in Tessly and structurally migrate your current messy spreadsheet assumptions.
Unlocked today
A clean, structured, dynamic financial model built specifically for an investor's point of view, with the logical blind spots removed.
Day 2Week 2
[LIVE FIRE]
Real-investor stress test and defense drill
Turn your model into a weapon and take full command of the fundraising negotiation table.
2.1
The unforgiving pitch
Present your financial plan and funding needs to real, invited investors in the room.
2.2
High-pressure stress test
Investors fire live questions at random — for example, "If customer acquisition cost doubled, how much runway would you have left?"
2.3
Real-time dynamic defense
This tests how you think on your feet. Drag parameters live in Tessly and answer with rigorous, chart-backed reasoning, defending your model against investor pushback in real time.
You'll leave with
A bulletproof financial model, sharp feedback from real investors, and real confidence at the negotiating table.
Requirements
This course has strict entry requirements — who is it actually for?
To make sure every team genuinely gets on stage and gets pressed by a real investor, we only accept teams already in the field.
Required · Required
A formally registered company
Real operating data, or a clearly defined plan. This is the minimum bar for entry — without real data or a clear plan, there's no assumption in your model that a stress test can actually bite into.
Company registration is complete
Real operating data, or a clearly defined operating plan
About to raise
Preparing for a Pre-Seed, Seed, or Pre-A round
Founders who need their financial model to hold up before they formally face investors. Better to get stumped here than at the real negotiating table.
Been turned down by VCs
Had fundraising conversations, but keep stalling on the numbers
Teams with fundraising experience who repeatedly stall at the financial discussion, valuation, or due-diligence (DD) stage. What you need isn't another pitch rehearsal — it's finding the specific assumption in your model that makes investors back away.
Registration & pricing
Up to two people per team, capped at 5 teams
Capacity is deliberately kept to the bare minimum, so every team genuinely gets on stage and gets real fire and real guidance from investors.
Full two-week pass
NT$2,000/team
Each team registration can include 2 core team members — we'd suggest the founder paired with whoever owns finance or operations.
Day 1 + Day 2, two full evenings of live fire (19:00–21:00)
A bulletproof financial model — the dynamic version rebuilt in Tessly
Your application goes into review; results follow by email.
Hard cap
5 teams
Strictly capped at 5 teams, so every team genuinely gets on stage and gets real fire and real guidance from investors. This isn't a lecture — it's the real stage.

Level 1 · Foundations
Don't have a financial model yet? Start with Foundations
"Zero to a Working Model" builds your first dynamic financial model from scratch, before you move on to the investor stress test. NT$1,000/team, also capped at 5 teams.
Both evenings are in-person — on Day 2 you'll personally pitch invited investors and respond by dragging parameters live in Tessly. Venue: . Class time is 19:00–21:00. The course is taught in Mandarin.
Does a team need to be two people? Can I come alone?
Pricing is per team (NT$2,000/team); each team can include up to 2 core members, and applying solo is fine too. That said, Day 2 requires pitching on stage while also dragging parameters live in Tessly, so we'd suggest the founder pair with whoever owns finance or operations.
My company isn't formally registered yet — can I apply?
"Formally registered, with real operating data or a clearly defined plan" is a required condition for this bootcamp — it's what guarantees every team on stage has real assumptions an investor can stress-test. Teams not yet registered, or still turning an idea into numbers, are a better fit for the series' Foundations course, "Zero to a Working Model."
My financial model is a mess — just scattered Excel sheets. Is that OK?
That's exactly what Day 1's "model checkup and migration" is for. Bring your existing spreadsheet and assumptions — we'll break down the fatal flaws and structurally migrate them into Tessly, producing a dynamic model built for an investor's point of view, ready for the Day 2 stage.
Who are the "real investors" on Day 2? Will they be harsh?
They're real, invited investors — not classmates role-playing or a simulation. They'll fire live questions at random (for example, "If acquisition cost doubled, how much runway would you have left?"), so you get the sharpest possible questions answered here first, before you face the real negotiating table.
How long after applying until I hear back? What if it's full?
We review as quickly as possible after you apply and notify you by email. Capacity is strictly capped at 5 teams; if this cohort is full, you'll automatically move to the priority waitlist.
Get stumped here first — better than getting stumped at the real table
Two evenings, five teams, a room full of real investors. Bring your financial model, let it take the heat, and leave with a version that can withstand real scrutiny.
